[/ Arlie almost blushed at Cassie’s question, had she been in a different situation she probably would be ] Wh-When I-I met h-him h-he wa-was like C-Casper.
[/ Arlie looked confused as Avery tugged his collar down. She didn’t understand why he would do that if Cassie was thirsty, the idea that the woman in front of her was a vampire going completely over the young girl’s head ]
Oh really? Hmm, interesting. *Leans over toward Avery* Why yes, I’d love a drink. *Cassie takes one quick look at the girl before biting down on Avery’s neck to drink. The taste of it, him mixed with the book’s magic, is always so powerful, increasing her urges rather than satiating them.*
*He hums at the feeling of Cassie drinking from him, letting it go on for a few moments before he gently pressed against Cassie; it was enough.* Ahhh. I’m always so happy to help out a close friend~ *He looked at the girl and grinned.* How’s your cake, Arlie? Is it nice?
[/ Arlie dropped the knife and her hands flew up in front of her mouth as she suppressed a scream as Cassie bit down on Avery’s neck. Her eyes were wide and despite her hands over her mouth you could still hear the shrill noise she let out ]
*Although all she wants is more, Avery’s nudge gives her pause. Cassie licks the spot clean, searching for any small drops. Once satisfied, she leans up to give Avery a kiss on the cheek and wipes her mouth clean before turning back to Arlie.* How’s your cake?
*A paper napkin flew over for Avery to daub at his neck with, getting Cassie’s saliva and any remaining plasma off.* Is there a problem, Arlie?
[/ Arlie was blinking fast as she stared at the two, not saying a word. It was all done so fast if it weren’t for the little marks on Avery’s neck she coould have almost believed it hadn’t happened and she was seeing things. But the marks were there. It had happened. As a result the little girl was backpedalling her thoughts—This was why Cassie gave her icky feelings—because she ate from people. -
